Bentley State Limousine

This particular Bentley State Limousine is one of two that may be found at the Royal Mews. The first one was a gift to Her Majesty the Queen in celebration of her Golden Jubilee in the year 2002. The one-of-a-kind design was developed by a Bentley-led coalition of British motor industry suppliers and manufacturers, and it was created with contributions from Her Majesty the Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, and Her Majesty’s Head Chauffeur.

Even though they are equipped with a potent engine (6.75 liter V8 with twin turbos), the Bentleys only drive between 3 and 9 miles per hour when they are being used for processions. The 6.75-liter engines in the Bentleys used to be able to run on LPG, but now they run on biofuel because the engines have been upgraded. The back doors include a hinge in the back, which is built so that it is possible for the Queen to stand up straight before exiting the vehicle through them.
